## Brdiging GCSE to A Level Maths - The 'Jump' - as recommended by the Guardian Newspaper!

2 years ago I identified a cohort of students who could be very successful at A Level maths If they had a few of the basics nailed over the summer. As a result I produced a range of 'thinking out loud' style videos to bring the pupils up to speed with topics in Algebra, Number, Space/Space and Trigonometry.

Labelled 'The Jump', the series has proved very successful with my students bridging the gap between GCSE and A Level maths.

The 30 Video Series builds on skills learned lower down the school and ensures a solid base prior to, what can be, a fast start to A Level Maths.

All videos were very much 'as I go' and may include a couple of arithmetic errors. This of course doesn't detract from the fundamental learning process of some quite tricky topics. The videos will come on one white DVD and will be in a paper sleeve. They are in MP4 format to keep the number of discs down. Please ensure your PC has the software to watch them (ie Windows Media Player, Realtime, etc). These will not play on your TV DVD!
